American actress Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her acting career began in supporting roles in the teen-oriented films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). In the FX series Dirt in the third season, she played reporter Willa McPherson. She also played a supporting role on the show that ran for just a few seasons The Ex List. She was a part of the young Moira O'Hara during the initial season of FX's American Horror Story, and she played Kaylee in the third season. She played Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices a variety of characters from the animated series Family Guy. She has been voiced by Melinda "Mel" Monroe in Virgin River on Netflix since the year 2019. Virgin River since 2019. Breckenridge was raised in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10 years old at which point her mom and she moved to California [1] where they lived for a year before settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to take an interest in singing, acting, and photography at 13. Breckenridge moved back to Los Angeles with the help of her mother at age 15.
